Admissions and Charges

At Little Rays, we believe that high-quality early years education should be accessible to every child. That is why we are committed to keeping costs as affordable as possible for families in our community.

Eligible parents can use their government-funded childcare hours at Little Rays, including both the universal 15-hour and extended 30-hour entitlements for 2, 3 and 4-year-olds. Funded hours are available between 9:30am and 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, during term time. Additional hours beyond the funded entitlement can be purchased if needed. We also offer an optional Early Starters session from 7:30am to 9:30am, which is chargeable. All parents are required to complete an EY4P form which confirms your child’s details and your agreement to use funded childcare hours (such as 15 or 30 hours) at our nursery, as required by the local authority.

The only extra costs are for morning and afternoon snacks, as well as a school lunch. Parents and carers are welcome to purchase these optional items or may choose to provide their own healthy snacks and/or lunch instead.

Admissions to Little Rays is managed by Raysfield Primary School. For more details on how to apply, please refer to our Raysfield Primary School – Little Rays Admission Policy
