Our Vision
In partnership with our parents and wider community, we aim to provide an educational journey that will nurture a love of learning; encourage children to respect the lives of others and the world in which they live; and develop the knowledge, skills and values to engage with the world now and in the future.
We achieve this through our school vision:
KNOW myself – It is important that our young people know themselves as learners, value who they are as people and develop confidence and self-belief. We nurture children to understand their own strengths and recognise how they learn best. We want all children to have a positive sense of themselves.
RESPOND to my world – Our aim is to develop pupils who understand and appreciate the world around them; value the diversity of people and places; and recognise the importance of caring for the world in which they live. We nurture curiosity, respect and a sense of responsibility towards others and our environment.
CONNECT with my community – It is important young people develop a strong sense of belonging and pride in their community. We want children to understand and respect the people, places and communities around them, building positive relationships and recognising the value that each individual brings to their shared world.
