Raysfield Primary School is a vibrant, exciting and fun learning environment with a close-working team of teachers, Academy Community Councillors, parents and children, all pulling together to ensure that every child realises their full potential and grows to enjoy a love of learning.
We are a large primary school, committed to providing an excellent service to our community. We achieve this through a skilfully designed curriculum where our young people are motivated to learn and our professional team are devoted to strong working relationships with all our families.

Starting school in 2026?
I am so impressed with Raysfield school. My children have come on so much. The teachers are fantastic and really listen to you and support you. There is a lovely family feel but also a high level of professionalism.
Leaders prioritise reading. It is the central support to the curriculum. From the beginning of Reception Year, children learn early sounds well and link them to the sounds that letters make.
The class dojo is brilliant for communication and to find out what exciting things my children have been up to at school. I have even bought the parent dojo so that I can give points and set challenges for my children at home. We love our school!
Leaders identify accurately and review regularly the support pupils with SEND receive. Pupils in the Lodge and Den benefit from effective, tailored support. This enables pupils with SEND to learn with confidence and success across the curriculum
Communication to parents at Raysfield is fantastic, staff at the school are approachable and always ready to help. My son loves to receive Dojo points, it is a great tool for parents to see what the children get up to at school.
