Behaviour
Behaviour at Our School
We believe every child has the right to learn in a safe, calm, positive and supportive environment where they feel valued, respected and a sense of belonging.
Our School Rules
Our approach to behaviour is built around our three simple school rules:
Be Kind
Be Brave. Â
Be Responsible
These rules provide a clear and consistent framework for behaviour across our school. Our approach is not simply about responding when children make mistakes; it is about actively noticing, celebrating and rewarding the positive choices we want to see. We recognise children when they demonstrate kindness, show bravery in their learning, and take responsibility for themselves and others.
Support with Behaviour
We aim to know every child well and understand that behaviour is often a form of communication. We support children to reflect on their choices, take responsibility for their actions, learn from mistakes and make positive choices. Our adults model these expectations through calm, consistent and positive behaviour.
Our behaviour policy is underpinned by the Mosaic Partnership Trust’s Behaviour Principles, which place equality, diversity, inclusion and belonging at the heart of our approach. We recognise that every child is an individual and that some children may need additional support to meet our expectations.
Above all, we want our school to be a place where children feel safe, happy, valued and ready to learn, and where positive behaviour is noticed, celebrated and encouraged every day.
