SEND/Inclusion

We are an inclusive school where every child is valued and celebrated as a unique individual. We believe that, given the right environment, support and encouragement, every child can flourish and thrive to achieve their very best.

At Raysfield we are ambitious for all learners. We believe that children can do anything and everything. We are committed to equality of learning opportunities for all children and through high-quality teaching, thoughtful adaptations and personalised support, we ensure that every pupil can access a broad, balanced and meaningful curriculum.

Partnership is central to our approach. We work closely with families, recognising that parents and carers are experts in their children. Together, we build supportive relationships that enable every child to be successful and fully included in school life.

Who to contact

The first point of contact should a parent wish to discuss their child is the class teacher who will then make a referral to the SENCO or Inclusion lead. Please see our SEND Information Report for more information.
